War is the central problem of international relations. For as long as humans have existed, they have been killing one another; throughout the modern era, they have been doing so in increasingly well-organized, large-scale, and devastating ways. The human and material destruction of war in the twentieth century alone is incalculable. Every war has its own unique set of causes, which are invariably multiple, complex, and interrelated. Wars have been fought either exclusively or in some combination to gain or defend territory; security; wealth; national, religious, cultural, racial, and/or ideological identity and values; political dynasties; colonies; independence; allies or other friendly states; empire; hegemony; freedom of the seas; endangered citizens; or national honor. Wars have also been fought to weaken or destroy rivals; retaliate against the aggression of others; preempt an imminent or inevitable attack; avenge insults or past losses; fill power vacuums before someone else does; or maintain alliance credibility.

Given the virtual universality of war, can we ever expect violent conflict between or within states to end? Many answer “no,” maintaining that wars are perfectly natural and are simply a violent means to resolve conflict: “War is a means for achieving an end, a weapon which can be used for good or bad purposes. Some of these purposes for which war has been used have been accepted by humanity as worthwhile ends; indeed, war performs functions which are essential in any society. It has been used to settle disputes, to uphold rights, to remedy wrongs . . . One may say that no more stupid, brutal, wasteful, or unfair method could ever have been imagined for such purposes, but this does not alter the situation.”

Throughout Europe’s modern era, for instance, the central reasons for war changed dramatically from religion (1519–1648) to dynastic rule (1648–1789), and then to revolution and nationalism (1789–1945).

Is the fight and plight of Oromo people is justified?

Before I am going to enter  the burning issue let me define concomitant therapy. Concomitant therapies are two or more treatment used or given at or almost at the same time in order to have systemic and local effect on the cancer (one after the other, on the same day, etc.).

We, Oromo peoples are invaded by cancer, which kills us from generation to generation. This cancer has a unique character. The characteristic of this cancer is changing from time to time in order to weaken the host immune system and organ function.  

Could we describe some facts about this cancer?

The Ethiopian empire leaders are refuse to accept that they are cancer and invading vital organs and immunological function of entire Oromo nations, colonizing and humiliating Oromo’s and other Oppressed nations.  Let me touch some truth that will show they are manmade cancers:

1. They are killing Oromo’s everywhere (man, women, children and elders) without any criminal act
2. They are imprisoned thousands of Oromo’s including Mr.Bekele Gerba and Prof. Merara Gudina without  any justification crime.
3. They are torturing till death our brothers and sisters every minute
4. They are evicting Oromo’s from their ancestral land by agazi forces.
5. They are raping our Oromo sisters and mother’s on the daily basis
6. They are forcing Oromo’s to live like animal only to eat and defecate (demanding morethan this is punishable according to this bloody empire leaders).
7. They are culturing enemies against Oromo’s across all corners
8. They are blackmailing Oromo’s on the international stages as terrorist and violent
9. They are Hunting down Oromo’s in foreign countries to kill and torture
10. They are killing Oromo’s and force them our mothers to sit down on the deceased body
11. They are forcing Oromo’s  to talk about the necessity of discipline, respecting  the rule of law and denying corruption, while the mother and the leading champion of all evils are them (denying rule of law, breaking discipline, ignoring humanity and expanding corruption).
12. Etc….etc….etc

A leading researcher on humiliation, Dr. Evelin Lindner, defines humiliation as “the enforced lowering of a person or group, a process of subjugation that damages or strips away their pride, honor or dignity. Further, humiliation means to be placed, against ones will, in a situation where one is made to feel inferior. “One of the defining characteristics of humiliation as a process is that the victim is forced into passivity, acted upon, made helpless.  Johan Galtung, a leading practitioner, agrees with Lindner that the infliction of humiliation is a profoundly violent psychological act that leaves the victim with a deep wound to the psyche.

More than 40years ago OLF have discovered a remedy to destroy the cancer cells. This remedy  combines multiple ranges with quadruple tasks.  

1. Teaching his people about Oromummaa, human right, devil action of the empire.
2. Teaching his people how to fight politically and militarily for  their right
3. Confronting Enemy on the battle field
4. Informing the international community about his people and devil action of the Ethiopian empire

Despite great progresses have been made in understanding the Oromummaa, the progress in awareness of the devil action of our colonizers and detection of their atrocities is still high and there still is not a cure despite great improvements have been made in all aspects. The current treatment regimens for these brutal groups of TPLF mafia have shown limited impact on their barbaric act, because these treatments primarily target tumor bulk (militia’s and soldiers) but not cancer stem cells (TPLF main mafia cells).

My people, one’s home may be destroyed by an earthquake, in which the victim may be devastated and traumatized but not humiliated, but when soldiers kick someone out of their home in the middle of the night and bulldoze it or set the home on fire. This latter case exemplifies the use of humiliation as a weapon by some people upon other people (that is what is going on today against our 50 million Oromo peoples by limited invaders of TPLF mafia groups).

My beloved Oromo people, Ones and again I will beg you to line up behind your vanguard organization OLF with unlimited support by ideas and finance to shorten the invasion of these cancer in order to save our coming generation.

We Oromo people are a proud nation in our history, in our culture, in our actions and in our way of thinking. That is why we reject all types of underclass behavior, pupetism, opportunistic character and slavery. History remembers the battle, but forgets the blood. Whatever history remembers of the cruelty is a fraction of the truth. The unique history of Oromo people remembers the total truth including blood because of the unthinkable brutality of our enemies against every Oromo family from Neanderthals time (Menilik and his group with so called unique brain) until 21st century (TPLF mafia still with Neanderthals brain).

Today I am not going to discuss about the old and new Neanderthals, but about the diaspora based collectors of restover and servants of Neanderthals. Now days Oromo peoples are unable to protect  their children, their elders, their women’s (the backbone of our society) from rapist TPLF para commando’s, from butcher TPLF polices, from merciless TPLF security agents tell me how we are going to make economic revolution!!!!At this moment there is no single protection mechanism for Oromo people. Yes according to your formula abbagarummaa, gantummaa and gabrummaa will protect us from your boss TPLF killing machine, but this type of character is totally contrary to our proud history.

By the way tell us what do you mean economic revolution:

• Do you mean building one room apartment on the backyard of Oromo farmers in laga xafo?, sebeta? Aqaqi?….
• Do you mean opening of shop by surrendering heroes of Oromo like Mr. Bekele Gerba and prof. Merara Gudina?
• Do you mean to get permission from your Neanderthals master TPLF in order to import secondhand cars by disrupting WBO support meeting?
• Do you mean to get permission from your Neanderthals master TPLF in order to get passport to export and import 1kilo coffee (while your master exporting in million killos) by surrendering thousands of heroes who fight our enemies in order to eradicate metastatic cancer (TPLF rule and their puppets)

We Oromo people reject TPLF controlled economic revolution without our full freedom. TPLF economic vision for Oromo’s is slavery and contain some substance with high risk of sudden death. An imbecilic colonial elites cannot give us any type of lecture about economic revolution while they are stealing our resources.

Why let me tell you the vision of world experts about economy:

The French economist Thomas Piketty thesis supports the inequality will remain as long as the aforementioned wealth concentration persists through generation (the top 1% of population has the vast majority of wealth in the economy and control of financial markets, (that means 1% versus 99%).

Second: Nobel laureate economist Simon Kuznets argues that as an economy develops  a natural cycle of economic  inequality occurs, represented by an inverted u-shape curve called the Kuznets curve. In an early development inequality increases. When the economy becomes mature, there is democratization and various redistribution mechanisms such as social welfare programs are present according to Kuznets country move back to a lower level of inequality.  

Third: The three pillars of sustainability are a powerful tool for defining the complete sustainability problem.  This consists of at least the economic, social and environmental pillars. If anyone pillar is weak then the system is as a whole is unsustainable.  Once  a war breaks out environmental sustainability has zero priority.

You the so called diaspora based analyst with CV without substance( doctor, political expert and economist):

• How comes that you are insulting your own peoples, hoe comes out in millions to demonstrate against  injustice and cruelty of TPLF.
• How comes that you are calling your own peoples just collection of gangs, hoe comes out in millions to demand their freedom.
• How comes that you are calling your own peoples just aimless voices, hoe comes out in millions to demand democracy.

When groups of people, from a tribe to a nation agree to form a government they form a social contract to increase their general welfare. This contracts binds the social and economic systems that the peoples are working together under a central government to maximize their economic systems output.

Now days across all nations and particularly in Oromia widespread injustice is hold on, calculated and planned silent genocide against Oromo people and other oppressed nations is going on, TPLF economic empowerment persist, death and torture is daily routine….so there is no democracy, no freedom, no social structure, no central government who cares about his people and no future plan for coming generation. Again our goal and struggle is not for individual enrichment but building a collective system to empower every Oromo family. So it is better for all of you so called diaspora based substance less CV holder with character of restover collector and servant of your master TPLF to take off your hand out of Oromo peoples struggle.

If not, one day the flown blood of our brothers and sisters, the soul of our heroes, the dedication of our comrades will judge you.

Here is my question to Dr. Debretsion Gebremichael:

• You start by calling our peoples: by the way who is your people? Is Tigrian? I am quite sure Oromo people is not your peoples. If you count them like your people you are not going to shoot them on the day time children, women, old and powerless innocent peoples. If you count them as your peoples you are going to listen their voices and answer their question.
• Again,  your tittle (Dr.) speaks more than general Samora yunus (minster of the Ethiopian Defence force). But your action is comparable to Samoras and an imbeciel Somali regional leader who kills and evicted more than half million Oromo people from east Oromia.  As Dr. and deputy prime ministers at least I expect from you some level of humanity and sympathy. But you are merciless butcher. By killing innocent peoples, women and children you can’t gain anything regarding  to security, peace and democracy. Your action leads to more hate, more radicalization and total instability in east Africa and particularly in Ethiopia.

Before I am going to enter to full explanation let us see the world view about terrorism:  

The UN Member States still have no agreed-upon definition of terrorism, and this fact has

been a major obstacle to meaningful international countermeasures. These difficulties arise from the fact that the term is politically and emotionally charged. Terminology consensus would be necessary for a single comprehensive convention on terrorism, which some countries favor in

place of the present 12 piecemeal conventions and protocols. Cynics have often commented that one state’s “terrorist” is another state’s “freedom fighter”.

UN Security Council Resolution 1566 (2004) gives a definition: criminal acts, including against civilians, committed with the intent to cause death or serious bodily injury, or taking of hostages, with the purpose to provoke a state of terror in the general public or in a group of persons or particular persons, intimidate a population or compel a government or an international organization to do or to abstain from doing any act.

A UN panel, on March 17, 2005, described terrorism as any act “intended to cause death or serious bodily harm to civilians or non-combatants with the purpose of intimidating a population or compelling a government or an international organization to do or abstain from doing any act.”

The European Commission uses the definition provided by the International Organization for Migration: ‘the intentional and systematic use of actions designed to provoke terror in the public as a means to certain ends. Terrorism can be the act of an individual or a group of individuals acting in their individual capacity or with the support of a State’.

Schmid and Jongman noted that 90 percent of the literature on terrorism had been written since 1969. The level of publication was already reached in 2000 when some 150 books on terrorism were published. In contrast, in 2001 this figure jumped massively to 1108 titles, with naturally almost all of these being published in the final three months of the year. 2002 saw an even greater number of titles released with a staggering 1767 titles published (34

new books each week). Each of the following years has seen well over 1000 new books added to the literature. Indeed, the five years since 9/11 have probably seen more books published on terrorism than appeared in the previous 50 years. Currently, one new book on terrorism is being published every six hours.

Given the difficulty of definition on terrorism: Counter-terrorism (CT) spending by Western countries has increased over the past 15 years. Since 2001, United States (US) federal expenditure on homeland security has grown on average by $360 billion annually. While it is not possible to calculate total EU and Member State spending on CT with any precision, EU spending is estimated to have increased from €5.7 million in 2002 to €93.5 million in 2009. Greater investment in CT may provide a response to the upsurge in terrorist threats. Increased spending, however, is not always followed by a reduced incidence of terrorism.

The EU’s increased efforts to develop a strategy to tackle terrorism and to improve the institutional framework must be seen alongside concerns that its approach to CT may amount to a ‘paper tiger’.

Today, I am not going to give a lesson to the international body about terrorism . But I would like to inform you about the false prophet TPLF with the name of Ethiopian peoples with sheep cloth and inwardly ravenous wolves with act of state terrorism.  This terrorist TPLF group are: inside your holy cabinet, inside your bank account and inside your discussion room.

Let us look at some facts about those terrorism act of the TPLF (Tigray peoples liberation front) state:

1. Imprisoning, torturing and killing innocent civilians from all nations in the Ethiopian empire
2. Terrorizing and intimidating innocent civilians like students women’s and children
3. TPLF is a Pathological liar:

• if you ask TPLF about the prisoners they called them criminals,
• if you ask TPLF about the torture they deny it totally while their main daily task is  
• if you ask TPLF about the day time shooting they called them terrorist,
• if you ask TPLF about poverty they show you about the sky rocket building in Addis Ababa belongs to their generals
• misinforming the western powers by blackmailing Oromo peoples and Oromo organization as terrorist on the international stages through back door

1. Deliberately inciting violence and hate between the brotherly nations (Oromo-Somali, Oromo-Amahara, Oromo-Sidama, Oromo-Benishangul Gumuz…)
2. Totally control of economy, military and intelligence department (if you ask them about those issues they shows you their dormant servants like OPDO, ANDM to mislead international community as democratic party).

TPLF totally fulfill the UN Security Council Resolution 1566 (2004), UN panel, on March 17, 2005, the European Commission pathway and description of multiple publication to define terrorism. But how comes that these wolves enter to the non-permanent Security Council of UN??? Normally TPLF classification belongs to the ICC Hague (Netherlands).

Why TPLF hate Oromo peoples?

Before I am going to answer these question let me introduce you these golden nation.

Oromo people are egalitarian society and Oromo’s are accounted for more than 45% of the population of the Ethiopian empire.  Historically their democratic system of government known as “Gadaa” governed the social, economic political affairs of the Oromo people.

Oromo peoples are dying from generation to generation by the same empire leaders with changing characters. Despite death of generation to generation Oromo peoples and their leaders preaches hope for everybody including their killers:

• while they  are languishing in prison camp,
• while they are suffering on the empire torture chambers,
• while they are suffocating on the hanging robe,
• while they are bleeding with AK47 of the empire,
• while they are gang raped by TPLF security services,
• while they are butchered by TPLF agazi forces
• while they are humiliated by the leaders of the empire

Again Oromummaa vision covers multiple aspects increasing employment, improving living standard, modernizing healthcare system, reducing poverty, promoting love, respect, equality and solidarity, ensuring the democratic system, rule of law and peace.

Let me put some facts about those realities:

• Oromo people are nation of peace, nation of love, nation of democratic belief, nation of generosity, nation of equality, nation of respect for all creatures including animal and plants.

Recent action of Oromo people explain those facts. While their country Oromia is under siege, while their children are executed by TPLF soldiers on the day time, while their daughters and wife’s are raped by TPLF agazi forces, while their intellectuals are imprisoned, tortured and butchered these golden nation still searching love, peace and solidarity. Look at “Oromia’s people-to-people peace delegation crossing the long Abay Bridge to their brotherly Amhara’s nation”.

• • OLF, the vanguard organization of the Oromo peoples put clearly on his political programme as follows: OLF is ready to go an extra mile in search of peaceful resolution of the political crisis in Ethiopia. (in order to achieve these goal in 1991 OLF accept painful proposition to disarm and put his soldiers in temporary military camp for the sake of peace and democracy in order to foster new Era in the Ethiopian empire to bring eternal peace for all oppressed nations. Again OLF is one of the main founder of Peoples Alliance for freedom and democracy (PAFD).

It began with a rumour. On 25 October, residents of Ambo, 120km west of the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, heard word on social media that a shipment of smuggled sugar was due to pass through town.

“Sugar is so expensive now, the price has tripled,” explains 18-year-old Israel, a first-year undergraduate at Ambo University. “And they’re exporting it to other parts of the country but the people here don’t have any. It’s not fair.”

So Israel joined the large crowd of young men and women that erupted in protest as three trucks rolled down the high street later that day, seizing hold of the vehicles and setting up roadblocks. He threw stones in the ensuing confrontation with police and covered his face with a scarf to avoid the teargas launched in his direction. And he watched in fear as the national military entered the town that evening and, the next morning, began firing live bullets, killing 10 people and injuring more.

“They were shooting at us with silencers on,” he says. “One of the boys killed was only 15. They killed girls too – one was my friend. A lot of my friends have died.”

The sugar rumour and the tragic events it sparked exposed the bitter web of grievance felt by many in Ambo and the surrounding region of Oromia, home to Ethiopia’s largest ethnic group: anger at what is perceived to be an unequal distribution of the country’s wealth, a pervasive sense of ethnic marginalisation, frustration with the endemic corruption that facilitates crime and contraband, and, above all, a deep mistrust of the authoritarian federal government in Addis Ababa.

Protests and strikes have resumed across Oromia since a nine-month state of emergency intended to quell them was lifted in August. In September hundreds of Oromos were killed and tens of thousands displaced amid an outbreak of sustained violence along Oromia’s border with the neighbouring Somali region. And reports of communal clashes in other parts of the country have emerged in recent weeks.

But for many the return of violence to Ambo’s streets was especially significant: it is the symbolic home of the Oromo struggle.

“Ambo is the heartbeat of the revolution,” says Bilisuma Deberie, a former Oromo activist and political prisoner now living in Addis Ababa. “It is where it all began.”

Since the October protest, federal police have been stationed in Ambo and other towns along the road to Addis Ababa, some of which experienced similar confrontations between security forces and protesters in the days that followed. Ambo is once again occupied by military troops, whose street patrols bring back unpleasant memories of life under emergency rule.

“They walk around the city with their guns, intimidating people,” says Galana, a student in health science at the university. “People are afraid.”

Shops and businesses were shut for several days after the unrest. Classes at schools and universities were suspended for a week, as students protested against the extra police presence on campus.

“Students fear for their lives,” says Galana’s friend, Ganeti, also a student at the university. “Some don’t want to come to class.”

Though they avoided joining the protests for fear of violence, both sympathise with the cause. In particular, they echo many in Ambo and elsewhere in expressing anger at the mass displacement of Oromos from the Somali region, and outrage at the perceived failure of the central government to protect them from what survivors say were unprovoked attacks and human rights abuses by Somali regional security forces.

In the weeks running up to the protests many of the displaced had arrived in Ambo and the surrounding area seeking shelter.

The fact that the military were sent quickly into Ambo has fuelled suspicions about the motives of the central government. Gadisa Desalegn, head of the town’s communication bureau, says he doesn’t know where the order for the intervention came from. “The people are demanding an answer,” he says.

Since the uprising, the town has been gripped by speculation and conspiracy theory – fed in part by social media – and many now believe the protests were the work of outsiders sent by the central government to incite violence to justify reimposing emergency law.

“The sugar rumour was intentionally circulated to provoke unrest,” says Habtamu Wondemagne, a 28-year-old rickshaw driver. “Sugar always comes through this town – there’s nothing unusual about that.”

He points to two burnt-out trucks on Ambo’s main road and, like other young men in the town, says it was the military, not protesters, who set them alight during the unrest. “This was not a genuine protest,” he says.

The belief that outsiders are responsible for destabilising the region is common across Oromia, strengthened by the mass arrests of largely non-Oromos by the regional government in recent weeks, which has led to concerns that minorities in the area are being targeted unfairly.

Others blame the protests on members of the new Oromo regional administration, pointing to an upsurge in ethno-nationalist sentiment across Oromia in recent months. “A wing has emerged within the leadership that plays the ultra Oromo-nationalist card and could be behind this unrest,” argues René Lefort, a longtime observer of Ethiopian politics.

He is among those who argue that instability across Ethiopia stems in large part from the weakness of the central government and efforts of the various ethno-regional wings of the ruling coalition party, the Ethiopian People’s Ruling Democratic Front (EPRDF), to attain political pre-eminence.

But the most striking shift in Ambo and elsewhere in Oromia over the past year is the widespread popularity of the new regional leadership, with many singling out Lemma Megersa, the regional president, for approval.

“I love him,” says Israel, the young protester. “He is my life.”

Under Megersa, Oromia’s government has promised land redistribution, imposed higher taxes on foreign investors, and demanded that they provide more jobs for local young people.

Locals also note that demonstrations this year have been policed more peacefully by local security forces. The Oromo police, once seen as lackeys of the ruling party, are now widely considered allies in the struggle against the federal government.

For residents of Ambo, it is the assertiveness of this new government that best explains the brutality of the federal military in suppressing the October protest.

“Lemma and his administration are on the side of the people,” says Galana, the student. “The problem now is the central government.”

The Oromo struggle is for national liberation and independence.
This means it is for totally political emancipation. For this,
the struggle continues marching forward until liberation is
realized. In order to bring about this, our people are standing
together shoulder to shoulder fighting in unity. Oromiyaa is
Oromo country, it is Oromo land, and Oromo home. The Oromo land
is a sacred land for the Oromo people and it must be respected
by all as such. Hence, Oromo struggle continues until the
restoration of their lost freedom, democracy, liberty,
liberation and independence.
Oromiyaa has been under occupation since the last quarter of
nineteenth century to-date. During this period, our people have
been killed, subjugated and exploited. However, today the
TPLF’s subjugation and oppression of the Oromo people and its
robbery, thievery, and plunder of Oromo resources have passed
the combined of all its predecessors. Not only these, it has
been murdering, and slaughtering our people in mass and
committing genocide against them. Forced mass expulsion and
eviction from their homes and lands have been implemented in
Oromiyaa. Hundreds of thousands intellectuals, men and women
have been sent to concentration camps; several hundred thousand
have been killed across Oromiyaa and millions have been forced
into poverty, hunger and starvation. The TPLF has three
policies for the Oromo: extermination, exile and prison. The
fact is the Oromo people have met a mortal enemy that they have
never met before.
The actions of this enemy have never stopped or discouraged the
Oromo people and their nationalists from the struggle for the
liberation. Here what is clear is this: the enemy may kill our
people and their nationalists but it can never kill their spirit
of fighting for liberation of their country. It can never kill
the spirit, the courage, the determination and commitment of the
Oromo people fighting for liberation and independence of their
country.
The Oromo people and nationalists must keep their eyes open for
new tricks, for new variations of neo-gobanas’ plans, for new
deceitful twists and turns on the propaganda to spread
confusion, devious and false information. The neo-gobanas are

the representatives of revisionists, renegades,
collaborationists, capitulationists and liquidationists embedded
within the Oromo nationals. Nationalists have to be vigilant
against all types of tricks, turns and twists to undermine the
struggle for independence of Oromiyaa. For instance, OPDO is
organization of neo-gobanas. It is a puppet organization
created by the TPLF. It is TPLF’s foot soldiers in Oromiyaa.
Hence, as organization, OPDO is organization of enemy of the
Oromo people and their struggle for liberation. It has no
independent existence in itself apart from its creator as well
as its master-the TPLF.
In 1991, OPDO had a choice to abandon the TPLF and join the
Oromo people and their nationalists. But, it failed to do so.
The failure was emanated from the fear instilled in it by the
TPLF while it was a captured prisoner. Hence, its choice was to
remain a pawn for the TPLF. That is, it allowed itself to be
used against the Oromo Liberation Front (OLF) and the Oromo
people by the TPLF. Since then, it has been unable to free
itself from the TPLF set trespasses for it. And so, it is and
politically paralyzed and organizationally dead. That is, it
has been and is unable protect Oromiyaa, its resources and the
Oromo people. Tragically, since its creation to date, it has
been serving in aiding and abetting the fascist TPLF in the
occupation of Oromiyaa and plunder of its resources. Its
leadership is and has been responsible in disarming the Oromo
people so as to deny them from having firearms and other
instruments or means for their self-defense against the fascist
Tigran attacks. It has become a vehicle for the TPLF in spying
and arresting the Oromo nationals and at the same time serving
as the prison gate keeper in Oromiyaa. Its leaders and members
helped the fascist Tigran regime in the rape of Oromiyaa for
twenty seven years. It has been silent for the last twenty
seven years as the fascist TPLF committed genocide against the
Oromo people. This means OPDO has been complicity in the crimes
committed against the Oromo people and plunder of Oromiyaa
resources. Hence, one must needs to be wise enough not to jump
on the OPDO’s ship. It is important to take with a grain of
salt whatever its leaders say and its cadres in the diaspora
preach. At the same time, it is import to bring its members who
are pro-liberation into the struggle and neutralize those
members who are anti-liberation struggle.
As a member of EPDRF, the only thing the OPDO leadership can do
at this time of Oromo struggle is to totally, completely and
unconditionally withdraw from the fascist TPLF lead EPDRF
government and its institutions. It has to demand TPLF to

release all political prisoners without any pre-condition. In
fact, if it claims to be a government of Oromiyaa, it should
open the prison gates in Oromiyaa and let go free all the
political prisoners without permission from the fascist TPLF.
In addition to these, it needs to officially accuse TPLF that it
has been and is committing genocide against the Oromo and other
peoples. Other than these, it is impossible to be member of a
fascist government and at the same time claim to be on the side
of the Oromo people.
The Oromo people and their nationalists are proudly determined
to fight. And they will never abandon this fighting until the
goal of struggle is realized. On the contrary, there are few
Oromo nationals who have taken ahistorical road; a wrong road
and a misleading road- a road of abandoning armed struggle for
.non-violet struggle. Advocating for the abandonment of armed
struggle in favor of only non-violence form of struggle is a
road that leads to undermine the Oromo struggle. These
nationals are out of touch with the wishes and aspiration of the
Oromo people. To abandon armed struggle is unprincipled
political tactics which is a political sell out, or betrayal of
the struggle to restore to Oromiyaa-its sovereignty, its
independence and its territorial integrity. These individuals
have taken political position that is intended to weaken the
unity of Oromo nationalists and their struggle for the right of
Oromo nations to self-determination. Those nationals who prefer
non-violent form of struggle over armed struggle are comfortably
sitting atop the political fence of Ethiopian empire and
enthusiastically dancing to the Abyssinians political music of
empire democratization. Non-violence means of struggle by
itself cannot overthrow the illegitimate occupying force. On
the Contrary to the non-violent resistance alone, in the
liberation struggle both armed struggle and non-violent form of
resistance go together, hand-in-hand. One is not in
contradiction to the other. Hence, the struggle benefits from
the combination of the two. While this is true, still armed
struggle takes priority over non-violent form of struggle. The
fascist Tigran regime of TPLF has been using violence against
the peoples of Ethiopia since 1991 to date. Here, one needs to
understand that violence is not the monopoly of the TPLF alone
and other forces can use it too. Military action or violence is
the only thing the TPLF understands. In national liberation
struggle, the use of armed struggle is legitimate against an
illegitimate occupying force. TPLF is illegitimate not only
because it came to power through force of arms and support of
external powers but it is also an alien occupying force. For
this, as it came to power by the force of arms, it will only go

by force of arms. Hence, armed struggle against an illegitimate
TPLF is legitimate and just and it is a means to an end. Here,
the most important form of propaganda is military action. It
creates sparks and the sparks set the nation in motion against
the enemy. In this case, the enemy is the TPLF.
Action Versus words
The Oromo struggle is a historic struggle. It has never ceased
since the occupation, annexation and colonization of Oromiyaa.
After over a century of struggle, the Abyssinian colonial feudal
regime was finally wiped out in 1974. Unfortunately, it was
replaced by military dictatorial regime that consumed the lives
of hundreds of thousands of the intellectuals, youths, farmers,
peasants, men, women and children. Again, after 17 years of
struggle, this dictatorial regime was also finally wiped out in
1991. However, it was also replaced by fascist Tigran genocidal
regime of the TPLF. Again the Oromo struggle is marching
forward ceaselessly to wipe out this fascist genocidal regime,
as those regimes before it. To do this, it is time for Oromo
political organizations to go fast forward in unity and struggle
today along with their people. This unity should not be next
year, or next month or next week or not tomorrow, but today. It
must be now. It should not be in words but in action. Hence,
it is time to prioritize actions over endless debates and
manifestos and deeds over words. The Oromo people are fighting
this enemy together, in collective action and in solidarity
today. It is time for the Oromo political organizations to
follow suit.
However, the Oromo nationalists are unable to not only defeat
the Tigran fascist regime, they have been unable to effectively
fight it out since the last twenty seven years. There are
reasons for this. Among the reasons are egocentrism and
infiltration. Many are infested with egoism. Personal ego is
and has been what has driven disunity and into factions. Hence,
the organizations are riven by petty distinctions. Subsequently,
they are unable to unite. Some are even disinterested in real
practical unity. In addition to egocentrism, the Oromo
political organizations are also infested with infiltrators.
The purpose of infiltrators are to create divisions in order to
weaken and undermine unity and struggle and to change the goal
and direction of the struggle. Here, the mechanism the
infiltrators use is sowing seeds of mistrust within and between
organizations. Real unity is unity of thought, of outlook, of
perspective, and unity in aspiration, in principle, in action,
in means and goal. The real practical unity is this: a single

leadership, a single organization, a single army and with a
clear political program of struggle. Unity in words is
illusion, self-deception and sham. This type of unity has been
seen time and again among Oromo political organizations. All
ended in futile. Such unity must be avoided. History tells us
time and again that no a nation has ever defeated its enemy in
the liberation struggle without a unity and armed struggle.
Unity means a single national political and military leadershipa
single entity with coherent command structure with a
consistent political position to lead the organization and the
struggle for liberation.
In unity and armed struggle, Oromiyaa can be turned into a no-go
area; ungovernable territory for the fascist TPLF and its puppet
organizations. Hence, in unity, we can turn every village in
Oromiyaa into a freedom fighters base; everything in Oromiyaa
into a weapon and everyone a freedom fighter, a soldier. For
this, it must be underlined that our strength lies in our unity,
not in factions. Hence, it is time for the Oromo political
leaderships to lead this struggle in unity, in a spirit of
humility, sincerity, courage, commitment, determination and
firmness of mind to liberate Oromiyaa.
Finally, the Oromo struggle is not a struggle against people who
live in Oromiyaa as their home. It is, therefore, not a struggle
to push other ethnic groups out of Oromiyaa. Again, the Oromo
struggle is not struggle against its neighbors who have been
living side by side for centuries. Rather it is a struggle of
the Oromo people to liberate themselves and their country from
colonial occupation, oppression and exploitation. It is a
struggle which aims at uprooting of the fascist Tigrayan regime
of TPLF and putting in its place a philosophy whose basic
principle is equal rights for all who live in Oromiyaa as their
home, irrespective of their ethnic or national belonging. In
order to achieve this, the liberation struggle marches forward;
never backward.
